THE CHALLENGE
A nationally known manufacturer of plastic products needed a domestic partner to help design and manufacture a commercial laundry cart to be released to a test market in a relatively short period of time.
THE SOLUTION
Their Manager of New Product Development and Principal Designer flew into Milwaukee to meet with our design team. They brought with them a prototype mocked up from a piece of luggage and some hand sketches. After our first meeting we had a workable design developed which took into consideration cost and availability of suitable materials.
THE RESULT
Within 8 weeks of that first meeting there were 250 laundry carts delivered to various hotels for testing made from materials sourced from all around the world.
