Project Description

THE CHALLENGE

A United States manufacturer of car batteries built a new facility in China needed our expertise to design a 38’ high x 200’ square curtain for their air extraction system. They could only provide construction drawings and a few measurements from the job site. We had to account for all ceiling trusses, duct work, conduits and crane rails that the curtains would need cut outs for. We also designed the system to hang the finished curtains.

THE SOLUTION

Using AutoCad our engineers designed the curtains with all the necessary notches and cutouts. We fabricated the curtains and shipped them to China labeled and packed in the best way possible to save their installation crew time and confusion.

THE RESULT

We shipped 63 curtains equaling about 40,000 square feet of material and the necessary hardware to hang them. Every notch was in the correct location. The installers followed our detailed instructions and installed the massive job without any problems.
